Institute of Music Education Limited (IME) was founded in 2011 (formerly named as “Institute of Hong Kong Senior Secondary School Music Education, IHKSSSME”) with the following objectives:

• To provide quality education in music for senior secondary schools students

• To nurture young composers and musicians with formal academic training

• To promote an interactive learning environment with experienced instructors and enthusiastic students

• To combine theoretical, aural, and practical aspects into curriculum, so that students would receive all-round musical training

• To build a network connecting all teachers who conduct classes of senior secondary music for enhancement of teaching experiences and course materials

Together, IME has proudly served 30+ schools in the last decade. Since 2024, IME has collaborated with the Hong Kong Music Institute (HKMI), one of the local music schools with the longest history, to organize courses and programmes. With such collaboration, IME is able to improve the teaching quality with advices and resources supported by HKMI.

音樂教育學院有限公司（IME）成立於2011年（前身為“香港高中音樂學院”，IHKSSSME），其宗旨如下：

• 為高中學生提供優質的音樂教育；

• 培養年輕作曲家和音樂家，並提供正規的學術培訓；

• 組織富經驗的教師和積極的學生，並創造一個互動的學習環境；

• 將理論、聆聽和演奏結合，使學生獲得全面的音樂訓練；

• 建立一個連結所有高中音樂教師的網絡，以提升教學體驗。

過去十多年，IME 已為30多所學校提供服務。自2025年起，IME 與香港歷史最悠久的音樂學院之一——香港音樂專科學校合作，舉辦HKDSE音樂課程，以豐富資源、提升教學品質。
