課程、計劃及報名

IME offers courses and programmes for Senior Secondary Music Curriculum for all schools in Hong Kong. We conduct classes to prepare students for the music examination of the HKDSE, IB, IGCSE, and A-levels. Our classes are mainly conducted in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

 

To meet different schools’ needs and students’ abilities, we teach in different formats and patterns: face-to-face/online classes; private/small group teaching; or intensive/regular courses. Apart from regular classes, our courses include regular assignments, quizzes and exams, workshops, and mock exams in Form 6 with instructors' feedback and suggestions for improvement. Activities such as performance master classes and composition workshops are also offered, along with opportunities to participate in public competitions and concerts. Students are also encouraged to join public competitions and concerts in Hong Kong, for example, Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and New Generation Concert.

Most importantly, we emphasize “specialized teaching,” so that students can learn about the most professional knowledge from instructors (with Master's or Doctoral degree in music) in the corresponding specialization (such as composition, musicology, theory, Chinese music, popular music, and Cantonese opera).

IME 為香港學校提供高中音樂課程及計劃，旨在幫助學生準備香港中學文憑考試 (HKDSE)、國際文憑組織 (IB)、國際普通中等教育證書考試 (IGCSE) 和英國高級水平考試 (A-Level)。我們的課程主要以英語、粵語和普通話授課。

為了滿足不同學校的需求和學生的能力，IME採用不同的教學形式和模式，包括：

• 面授 / 線上課程；

• 私人 / 小組教學；及

• 密集 / 常規課程。

除常規課程外，我們的課程還包括常規作業、測驗和考試、工作坊以及中六模擬考試，並由導師批改和給予改進建議。此外，我們也提供表演大師班和作曲工作坊等活動，以及參加公開比賽和音樂會的機會。我們也鼓勵學生參加香港的公開比賽和音樂會，例​​如香港學校音樂節和新一代音樂會。

我們強調“專科專教”，讓學生能夠從相應音樂領域的導師 (音樂碩士或博士資歷) 學習到最專業的知識（如作曲、音樂學、理論、中國音樂、流行音樂、粵劇等）。
